Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how GLP-1 Marketing Solutions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Company”), a Texas limited liability company, collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the RhythmRx mobile application (the “App”) and this website.
Questions about this policy: support@rhythmrx.app.
1. Summary
- The App is local-first. We do not operate a RhythmRx user account system or a RhythmRx backend that stores your practice history.
- Progress, settings, and onboarding survey answers are stored on your device.
- We use PostHog for product analytics and Apple / RevenueCat for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- The App displays synthetic educational ECG/EKG strips. It does not record or receive live ECG signals from your body, and it is not a medical device.
2. Information we process
2.1 Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the App, the following may be stored locally on your device (for example via on-device app storage):
- Practice progress (such as XP, levels, streaks, accuracy, and session history)
- App settings (such as difficulty preferences)
- Optional onboarding survey answers (for example role and learning goal)
- Local flags related to membership entitlements after a purchase
This on-device information is not uploaded to a RhythmRx-operated server because we do not run one for user profiles or quiz history.
2.2 Analytics information (PostHog)
We use PostHog to understand how the App is used and to improve features, reliability, and learning experience. PostHog may receive information such as:
- Event names and related properties (for example practice started, answer submitted, session completed, settings viewed)
- Device and app context typically collected by mobile analytics SDKs (for example device type, OS version, app version, and approximate network/IP information as processed by PostHog)
- A pseudonymous analytics identifier generated for analytics purposes
PostHog processes data as our analytics provider. See PostHog’s privacy documentation: posthog.com/privacy.
2.3 Purchases and subscriptions (Apple and RevenueCat)
If you buy RhythmRx Plus (subscription) or Lifetime access, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. In connection with purchases, Apple and/or RevenueCat may process information such as:
- Purchase receipts and transaction identifiers
- Product identifiers, subscription status, renewal and expiration information
- Device / app identifiers needed to restore purchases and unlock entitlements
We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Apple’s privacy practices apply to App Store payments. RevenueCat’s practices are described at revenuecat.com/privacy.
2.4 Support communications
If you email us, we receive the content of your message and your email address so we can respond.
2.5 Website
This marketing and policy website is static. Our hosting provider (for example Cloudflare Pages) may process standard server or CDN logs such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps as part of delivering the site. We do not run a RhythmRx account login on this website.
3. Information we do not collect
- We do not create RhythmRx user accounts or require an email/password to use the App.
- We do not collect real patient health records through the App.
- We do not capture live ECG/EKG signals from sensors attached to a person; strips in the App are educational / synthetic.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we use information
- To operate core App features on your device (practice, progress, settings)
- To process and restore purchases and subscription entitlements
- To measure product usage and improve the App (via PostHog)
- To respond to support requests and meet legal obligations
5. Sharing of information
We share information only as needed with:
- PostHog — analytics processing
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
- Apple — App Store distribution and payment processing
- Service providers who host this website (for example Cloudflare)
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security
If the Free plan includes advertising in a future release, ads may be served by Apple or another advertising partner disclosed in an updated policy. Plus and Lifetime are described as ad-free.
6. Retention
- On-device data: retained until you delete the App or clear App data on your device.
- Analytics: retained according to our PostHog project settings and PostHog’s practices.
- Purchase / entitlement records: retained as needed to provide access you bought and to meet accounting, tax, and legal requirements (often via Apple and RevenueCat systems).
- Support emails: retained as long as needed to resolve your request and for ordinary business records.
7. Your choices and controls
- Delete local App data: delete the App from your device (or clear App storage using iOS settings where available).
- Manage subscriptions: cancel or change auto-renewing subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. See Apple’s subscription help.
- Restore purchases: use the App’s restore/purchase flows (when available) after reinstalling.
- Contact us: email support@rhythmrx.app for privacy questions. Because we do not host a RhythmRx user account database, we may not be able to remotely delete on-device progress; deleting the App removes local data.
If we later add an in-App analytics opt-out, we will update this policy and the App settings accordingly.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for adult learners and clinicians (or other adults preparing for clinical or exam work). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@rhythmrx.app and we will take appropriate steps.
9. International users
We are based in the State of Texas, United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
10. Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a local-first app without a RhythmRx user backend. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining physical control of your device and OS-level protections (passcode, biometrics, updates).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy. Material changes may also be highlighted in the App or on this site.
